A day in the life as a Heighten
Project Manager…

On an ongoing basis, our Project Team oversees and ensures the success of large-scale services and implementations for customers who own some of Canada’s largest networks. Our PMs must be committed to collaboration across multiple teams, building consensus, and driving initiatives to completion with accuracy, efficiency, and care. You will lead the way as teams navigate project strategy, delivery, and risk/issue management. Above all, you will be a communicator, reinforcing project requirements and methodologies, and playing a key role to build lasting relationships with our clients.

We operate in a flexible, fast-paced environment and require someone with initiative who can jump right in, taking ownership of the success of each project. You will be working with great people across our organization to deliver work you can be proud of and results that will make a difference.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise
(that matter most for this role!)

At Heighten we don’t just look for qualifications on paper, we seek those with a growth mindset, a passion for solving problems, and a commitment to inspired collaboration.

Proven Expertise: You should have a relevant degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.), preferably a PMP, and 5+ years of experience managing projects for on-prem and cloud environments security implementation.
Communication: You must be a world-class communicator, not only in terms of written, verbal, and interpersonal prowess but as a leader and relationship builder who inspires trust and confidence in your own authentic way
Technical Knowledge and Toolset: You must be well-versed in various tools of the trade just as Project, Jira, Canva, or related tools. We also hope that you have at least a modestly deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies and practices with which our teams are engaged (e.g. networking and firewalls, SIEM & threat analytics, advanced threat protection, risk and compliance principles, change management, etc.
